According to Threlfall’s GMC50419, Thomas Strutt “of Glemsford, Suffolk, paid a tax of £2 on £40 in the 1524 subsidy. When he made his will he was living in Long Melford which is adjacent to Glemsford. His wife was named Joan.” An abstract of Thomas Strutt’s will follows.
