Information about Rose Brand’s first and third marriages comes from Threlfall,454 who identifies her as the widow of Richard Riddlesdale, and “nee Rose Brand of Boxford....She returned to Boxford and there married for her third husband, Richard Grymes, on 20 November 1617.”455 (Threlfall spells the name Riddlesdale, and Smith spells it Riddelsdale.)
