According to Smith,497 “At the burial of his third wife he is called of Corlie [the name of his estate] and also at the burial of his fourth wife. This fourth wife, Margaret, had married first (_____) Cole and had with him a daughter Agnes and a son John, both named in John Warren’s 1576 will.” The will, written two days after the burial of his fourth wife, is transcribed by Smith, and also by Threlfall who in addition transcribes the complete inventory of John Warren’s estate.
