According to Threlfall’s GMC26682, “NICHOLAS POTTER was probably born between 1455 and 1465 at Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, or nearby. He died about April or May 1522. His oral will was dated 5 May and was proved 8 May. The date of the will was most likely the date it was written up and not necessarily the date he died.
