This is probably the Thomas Read recorded in MSSWR795 as follows, but more research is required to confirm this: “READ, THOMAS. Account dated Westford, June 19, 1781, rendered by the Selectmen, of bounties paid men raised to serve in the Continental Army for the term of 3 years, agreeable to resolve of Dec. 2, 1780; said Read reported as a member of Class No. 3 which engaged Asa Patch.”
