Adirondack Sunsets from Middlebury College

The western horizon is visible from many places on the Middlebury College campus, especially near McCardell Bicentennial Hall. The Adirondack Mountains of New York, as seen over the fields of Cornwall, Vermont, present and ever changing and always beautiful evening prospect throughout the year. Lake Champlain marks the border between Vermont on the east and New York on the west, but it is hidden behind low hills and is not visible from Middlebury.
