According to Threlfall’s GMC26681, “THOMAS POTTER (Nicholas) of Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, was born probably about 1500 to 1505. Thomas made his will on 7 July 1552 and it was proved 5 Dec 1553, so he probably died late in the year 1553. He named his wife Margaret who presumably survived him. She must have died before 1558 when the parish burial records start, for there is no record of her burial after that date. His will mentions a sister Margaret and his father Nicholas Potter, as well as his children.” An abstract of the will follows, along with details of his children and abstracts of some of their wills.
