According to Threlfall’s GMC50768, John Barker “was baptized 20 April 1563 at Nayland, ‘son of John Barker’. On 29 June 1585 at Stoke Nayland, he married Margaret Walter who was baptized 8 September 1564 at Nayland, the daughter of Richard and Margaret Walter. On 10 March 1616/17 at Nayland, John Barker, ‘householder’, was buried. Margaret remarried to _____ Munnings of Colne Engaine, Essex, who was living in 1640.” The marriage date for John Barker and Margaret Walter given by Threlfall on p. 439 is 29 June 1585 as quoted above, but on p. 442 and 444 Threlfall gives the date as 28 June 1585. Similarly, the burial date for John Barker is given on p. 439 as 10 March 1616/17 (quoted above), but this date is given as 19 June 1617 on p. 444.
